Entac is 100% organic and is comprised of
Tall Oil Pitch (TOP) which is a distillation product of Crude
Tall Oil (CTO). Tall Oil is an adaption of the Swedish word Talloja,
which means pine oil. Pine Oil is a mixture of resins and fatty
acids, and is produced from processing paper pulp. CTO is distilled
to yield a variety of commercial products including TOP. The fatty
acids contained in the TOP are the same fatty acids that exist in
soybean oil, cottonseed oil, and the like. The resin is the same
material that is used for chewing gum and baseball resin bags. TOP
is basically an ester, which is biodegradable.
Entac Emulsions are customized for various applications and are
non-hazardous, environmentally friendly alternatives to chlorides,
lignosulfonates, oils, asphalt emulsions and molasses.
